Telescope/Warm-Room Interface

Although it appears to be a common trash can, this is the Camarillo Observatory telescope/warm-room interface.  It consists of an economical, weather-resistant housing, containing a CPU (computer).

The CPU is an obsolete 486DX-133 computer, without a keyboard or monitor.  The primary function of this computer is to control the telescope, the CCD camera and to communicate with the warm-room computer via an Ethernet connection.
