One Thousand and Counting!

Captured during the predawn hours of 28 February 2004, Potentially-Hazardous Apollo Asteroid 2004 CB becomes the thousandth near-Earth Asteroid to be observed from Camarillo Observatory.

Unknown to me, my family, friends and colleagues at Stony Ridge Observatory had been patiently waiting for several months for number 1000 to be reported.  A special celebration was in the works which was splendidly executed on 6 March 2004.  Stay tuned for details!
