Who's who in the world of near-Earth asteroid (NEA) observers? Here we show the current statistics for all observatories, both amateur and professional, that appear in the Near-Earth Objects - Dynamics Site database, as of 1 January 2005. There are three unique plots showing the ranking of the top 20 Observatory Codes. The code for Camarillo Observatory is 670. Keep in mind that these are asteroids that have been observed, not discovered. Most of the observatories listed, operate in the capacity of follow-up observing, and may not have any discoveries to their credit. The first graph depicts all of the unique NEAs that have been observed by that observatory, since the very first one was discovered in 1898. The second graph shows the number of asteroids observed during the previous 12 month period. The third graph shows the number of asteroids observed during the previous month. The fourth graph is identical to the first, except that the data are presented as a percentage of the total population of known NEAs. For example, Camarillo Observatory has currently observed 35.2 percent of the catalogued NEAs, which is down from the high-water mark of 37.5 percent achieved in December 2003.
